What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email, phone number, event date, location, budget and message.

Card payments are processed securely by Stripe Checkout after a proposal is accepted. AVBB does not store full card numbers or CVC data on this website.

How and why we use it

Your information is used to respond to your enquiry, take steps towards a contract, deliver an agreed project, keep required business records and protect the service from misuse. We never sell or rent your data and do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without a separate lawful basis.

Website activity alerts

We use limited server-side activity alerts to let the studio know when the public website is being opened. To avoid repeated alerts, Cloudflare converts the connection IP address into a keyed, daily-changing code. Only that code reaches Supabase; this feature does not store the original IP address, page address, search parameters, referrer or a visitor profile. It sets no cookies, uses no browser storage and creates no device fingerprint.

Codes expire after 30 minutes and are removed by scheduled cleanup. Alert-delivery records are kept for up to seven days plus the cleanup interval and contain no visitor code or IP address. Phone alerts say that someone opened the website. Optional email alerts are sent through Resend only to the studio notification inbox, with the visit time but no visitor code or IP address. Email copies may remain in that inbox until deleted; the email provider also applies its own retention policies. Shared connections can be grouped together, so this is not an exact count of people. This feature skips requests carrying Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. You can also contact us using the privacy contact below to object to this processing.

Storage & retention

Enquiry data is stored securely and kept only as long as needed for the project, legitimate business records or legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts this website. Campaign labels may be included with enquiries for source measurement; no advertising pixels are enabled. Supabase provides the enquiry database and authorised studio authentication. Resend delivers enquiry and project emails. Stripe processes card payments. An optional YouTube privacy-enhanced player loads only after an explicit on-page choice. These providers process limited technical or enquiry data only to deliver those functions.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, ask for corrections or deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, or raise a privacy concern by emailing info@avisualbybenji.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
