before you book
FAQ
The questions we hear most
Everything clients usually ask before sending a brief. Still unsure? Just email info@avisualbybenji.com.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible — popular dates (weekends, festival season) go months ahead. Last-minute is sometimes possible, so always ask.
How does payment work?
A deposit secures your date. The balance schedule is set out clearly in your quote or invoice and may be due before the shoot or before final delivery, depending on the project.
Do you travel?
Yes — based in London and available across the UK and worldwide. Travel beyond London is quoted separately.
How long until I get my film?
Turnaround depends on the service and is stated in your quote — typically a few days for events up to a few weeks for full campaigns.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
Every brief is reviewed personally and you get a reply within 48 hours, along with a reference number for your enquiry.
From there it runs in four steps: a tailored proposal by email, an electronic contract to review and accept, then the agreed booking deposit (typically 50%) to secure the date. Sending the enquiry costs nothing and does not hold the date — the date is reserved once the contract is accepted and the deposit clears.
What is included in the quoted price?
Guide prices on this site are starting points for standard single-shooter productions and cover the shoot, the edit, colour and delivery of the agreed files.
Your written quote is the authority: it sets out the exact deliverables, formats, payment schedule and turnaround for your project, and those project-specific terms take priority over anything shown here.
What is billed separately?
Travel beyond London, parking, accommodation, permits, additional crew and any other agreed production costs are quoted separately where they are needed.
Nothing is added without being agreed first — extras appear as itemised lines in your proposal before you accept it.
How do revisions work?
Standard projects include two rounds of revisions unless your quote says otherwise. You review the first cut, send your notes together, and the changes are made in one pass.
Collecting notes in one go per round keeps the process clean and the timeline predictable.
What if I am not happy with the edit?
Tell me. The revision rounds exist for exactly this — notes on pacing, music, colour, structure or specific shots are normal and expected.
Bigger creative direction is easier to catch early, which is why references and a clear brief at enquiry stage matter. Every project has a defined sign-off point, so you know when the cut is final.
Have you filmed something like my event before?
Very likely. Over 140 projects since 2022 — 14 credited music-video releases, 22+ event aftermovies for promoters and university societies, plus brand, hospitality, wedding and private-event work.
Credits include an official Sony Music India feature, three consecutive Legacy Awards for Best Videographer and a Best Cinematography win at ARCFF Los Angeles. If you want to see work close to your brief, ask and I will send relevant references.
